Venetian Mask Sculpture on Plinth

Pottery for me is an extension of my art: working with faces which encompasses my experience of painting portraiture and background as a make-up artist.

The masks are formed from one block of clay, massaged, kneaded  and sculpted into shape.

The heads are either unglazed and twice fired or finished with a matte glaze, giving a more primal natural aesthetic.

They look great displayed inside on a side table/shelf or outside as a feature in your garden.
